Top 5 Benefits of Amazon Web Services

Many people often hesitate whether they should consider getting Amazon Web Services for their IT infrastructure service. In most cases, people who are personally managing their IT infrastructure raise their concerns about the cost, privacy, and security of the Amazon Web Services. In this article, we’ll discuss some of the benefits of AWS.

  1. Cost-Effective

Amazon Web Services is part of the Amazon Cloud Services. It allows existing infrastructure to speed up to easily adapt and deliver IT resources.  It follows a system called “pay-as-you-go”. With this system it enables you to pay only for what you use. Once you stop your usage, there is no fee to terminate, and billing stops immediately.  There isn’t any complex dependency or licensing requirements and you get exactly what you need to build innovative cost-effective solutions using the latest & greatest technologies.  AND now you won’t have to create and manage your own IT infrastructure.

Use the right pricing model for the job

AWS offers several cost-saving pricing models depending on product:

• On Demand means you pay for compute or database capacity with no long-term commitments
or upfront payments.
• Dedicated Instances (available with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) run in a
virtual private cloud (VPC) on hardware that’s dedicated to a single customer.
• Spot Instances are an Amazon EC2 pricing mechanism that lets you purchase spare computing
capacity with no upfront commitment at discounted hourly rates.
• Reservations provide you with the ability to receive a greater discount, up to 75 percent, by
paying for capacity ahead of time.

  1. Well-Secured

Amazon Web Services come with several certifications like FISMA Moderate, SAS 70 Type II, and PCI DSS Level 1. These certifications can attest that the AWS is a well-secured platform for business owners. They come with several operational and physical security systems that make it harder for hackers to access. Amazon Web Services also conducts regular internal and external audits to ensure their infrastructure is safe from malicious activities.

  1. Elastic and Versatile

AWS allows users to replicate, experiment, and invent their own system with the use of Amazon Cloud Services. It allows them to predict if they should scale up or down, depending on the demand of the said product.  It also allows users to use new applications that are yet to be released in the market.

Their system makes it easier for you to manage money and time efficiently.  You’ll be able to deploy a huge number of virtual servers with less effort and time if needed.  It’ll allows you to save money and see your ROI quicker.  AWS can also help your business receive better responses with services that automate scaling and load balancing of resources.

  1. No Commitment

Another benefit of AWS is that it offers no commitment.  No matter what kind of service you want Amazon Web Services to offer, you will only pay a consumable amount. If you wish to stop the service, Amazon will immediately terminate the service. You won’t have to negotiate anything with them once you start and end their service.

  1. Experienced

Amazon is one of the most experienced cloud providers. They were able to build their reputation in the span of 15 years and with their multi-billion dollar online-business virtual backbone, you’re guaranteed a scalable, reliable, and secure global computing infrastructure.

Moreover, Amazon Web Services are known to be the fastest and most robust cloud computing infrastructure in the world.  You will have access to compute and storage resources when you need them.

“Why manage your own IT infrastructure and/or data center?  It’s not your primary business function.  You have to maximize your capital!  Think about it, you probably lack the IT resources and/or expertise.  What about “time to market” & so on…  AWS allows you to be agile & efficient!”

Easy to use – Flexible – Cost Effective – Reliable – Scalable – Secure

Amazon Web Services is well-maintained. They are more cost-effective compared to traditional IT infrastructure. It is best that you consider getting these services for your business. Doing this will save you time, money, and energy.
